Book of Yog Idle RPG for iPhone Installation: A Beginner's Guide

If you're new to Book of Yog Idle RPG, you've come to the right place. This guide is designed to help you get started with the game and set yourself up for success.

Once you unlock Ancient Wood, you'll have more flexibility when it comes to swapping heroes in and out of your party. At this point, PvP is still a relatively minor aspect of the game, so focus on optimizing your party for PvE maps, tower challenges, and big boss DPS races instead.

Each hero has its unique role and playstyle:

* Support: Focused on healing and buffing allies

* Mystic (Mage): Specialized in control and damage

* Assassin (Melee DPS): Excels at evasion and dealing damage

* Striker (Frontline Melee): A semi-tank with utility-focused abilities

* Guardian (Typical Tank): Concentrates on survival

Your commander will always be active and cannot be removed. You'll have four slots available for active characters at any time, which is explained in more detail in the Experience & Fatigue section of this guide.

Keep in mind that there's a daily cap on experience and loot you can earn. While you'll still gain some experience, cash, and level-up materials while offline, the rate will be much lower than when actively playing.

Don't worry too much about equipment just yet, as it will get replaced quickly. Your primary focus should be completing introductory events like Special Bootcamp and Rally to Heroes within a few days of starting the game.

Additionally:

* Check for limited-time activities and complete as many as possible before they expire

* Monitor your Commander Tasks (bottom left popup) and Bulletin Board for daily and weekly tasks

* Use active commander skills to overcome difficult maps or tower levels

* Make sure each character has their skills equipped and leveled up as you collect skill scrolls

For the most part, focus on progressing through the map and exploring other systems when your progress is gated or you feel stuck. You'll be unlocking a lot of new systems quickly at first, but don't worry – it's all part of the learning process.
